Terms of Service

By accessing or using The Loser's Bracket platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease using the platform.

These Terms apply to all visitors, managers, commissioners, and platform administrators who use our fantasy sports scoring systems, league drafts, and transaction tools.

The Loser's Bracket is a reverse fantasy sports service. Bad plays lower a manager's Penalty Score, while productive plays and missed Participation Floors raise it. The lowest eligible score wins.

To preserve competitive integrity, every active player must meet the applicable **Participation Floor**:

• NFL: Quarterbacks must have 15+ pass attempts. Running backs/wide receivers must hit 35% snap counts.
• NBA: Players must play at least 15 minutes.
• MLB: Pitchers must complete 3.0 IP (Starters) or enter the game (Relievers). Hitters must have 3+ plate appearances.
• NHL: Goalies must start. Skaters must record 10+ minutes ice time.
• Failure to meet the applicable floor results in a +15 Participation Penalty per athlete.

Commissioners are responsible for their individual private leagues, including:

• Setting custom draft timers, waiver priorities, and scoring multipliers.
• Reviewing, approving, or vetoing proposed roster trades fairly.
• Managing membership access. Platform administrators are not responsible for internal commissioner-level disputes.

While drafting poor performers is the core mechanic, we prohibit malicious collusion or manipulation of statistical feeds. Attempts to disrupt the service, aggressively scrape statistics, or bypass draft controls may result in account suspension.

The Loser's Bracket uses third-party sports data sources. Scores may be delayed, marked preliminary, or corrected during the applicable correction window. We do not guarantee uninterrupted data availability or instantaneous updates.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced in the application. Your continued use of the platform constitutes agreement to those terms.

By creating an account and registering on The Loser's Bracket, you confirm and warrant that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of 13, you are strictly prohibited from using the platform.

The platform features a digital, non-monetary currency referred to as "Shame Coins". Shame Coins are virtual loyalty tokens meant solely for entertainment, cosmetic customization, and engagement within the application. Shame Coins have no real-world monetary value, do not constitute property, and cannot be redeemed, exchanged, or sold for real currency, goods, or services.

The platform provides convenience tools to help commissioners keep track of mock league budgets, entries, or potential payouts. The Loser's Bracket does not process, hold, escrow, or transfer funds between users. Any real-world settlements or financial arrangements between league members are conducted entirely outside the platform, and the platform bears no responsibility or liability for any financial transactions or disputes arising therefrom.
