Reverse fantasy, explained

The rules are strange. They should not be unclear.

The Loser's Bracket rewards the wrong box score—but only when your players actually participate. The lowest eligible Penalty Score wins.

01

Draft active pros

Your roster is built from professional players who can contribute during the scoring period.

02

Lower is better

Bad plays lower your Penalty Score. Productive plays add to it.

03

Meet the Participation Floor

An active player who does not play enough receives a Participation Penalty.

04

Settle the matchup

The manager with the lowest eligible weekly Penalty Score wins.

Penalty Score

Every score always says “Lower is better” and shows the plays behind the total.

Participation Floor

Eligibility prevents managers from winning by drafting players who never see the field.

Score status

Scores are marked Preliminary until the correction window closes, then Final once settled.
